Welcome to term 2 in Room 5.  The clever people in Room 5 created a rap song about a lot of the exciting activities that happen at Firth School during the year.  The tune is the military running chant/Molenberg bread ad from way back if you want to sing it while you read.

Tuesday, Thursday Active Time

If we don’t it’ll be a crime

Wearing all our black raincoats

Keeping dry with all our notes

Eating popcorn for brainfood

It will keep us in a good mood

Duffy books that we all get

Reading them when it is wet

Banking money with ASB

You’ll be as rich as rich can be

If Mrs Foy sees a frog on the way

She will think it’s come to stay

Eating brainfood makes us shine

Homework’s done and we feel fine

Kapa haka we join in

Waiata, poi we create a din

Netball, rugby, hockey too

Sports and Dex we  like to do

Boys play rugby on the field

If they win they get a shield

7 aside, it’s on it’s way

Let’s get ready for the day

Every night we dream of camp

When we go we might get damp

When we’re green we get a click

An extra one if you work quick

Hands for helping everyone

Smiles and joy we all have fun
